Eligibility Criteria for NHM Assam CHO Recruitment 2023
Educational Qualification :
- Applicants must have completed the B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with integrated certificate course in Community Health/ B.Sc. (Community Health) to be eligible to apply for the position.
- B.Sc. (Nursing) / Post Basic B. Sc Nursing from a nursing institution/college recognized by Indian Nursing Council / Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council.
- Applicants must be recognized as Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) by Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council.
- Applicants must submit a certificate from the Principal of their respective School of Nursing (from which the applicant has graduated) confirming the integrated certificate course in Community Health as per the prescribed format (See Appendix I)
Age Limit :
Applicants should not be less than 18 and not more than 35 years old on 01/06/2023.
Age relaxation: the upper age limit can be relaxed :
(i) By 5 years for SC /ST candidates,
(ii) by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
Other criteria: Candidates should be proficient in regional/local language and dialect.
