Eligibility Criteria of Indian Post Office GDS Recruitment 2023
Educational Qualification :
- Completion of 10th class of secondary school with Mathematics and English (as compulsory or optional subjects) awarded by a Board of Education recognized by the Government/State Governments/Union Territories of India is a compulsory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.
- The candidate should have studied the national language, i.e. (name of national language), at least up to secondary level [as a compulsory or optional subject].
- Other qualifications: Computer literacy, proficiency in cycling, and sufficient means of subsistence.
Age Limit :
The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 11/06/2023.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates,
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
(iii By 10 years for PWD candidates .

- EWS Candidates : 100/- Rupees.
- OBC Candidates : 100/- Rupees.

Selection Process for Indian Post Office GDS 2023
- Applicants are shortlisted based on a merit list generated by the system.
- The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the 10th grade secondary school examination or conversion of marks/points to marks expressed as percentages to 4 decimal places.
- Passing all subjects according to the standards of the respective recognised schools is mandatory.
