Eligibility Criteria of Oil India Nursing Admission 2023
Candidates who wish to enroll in OIL India Nursing courses 2023 must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Marital Status: Only unmarried female candidates are eligible to apply.
Residency: Female candidates from Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar and Charaideo districts of Assam and Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh are eligible to apply.
Physical fitness: Applicants must be physically fit and will be finally selected for admission only after being declared fit by the Medical Council OIL.
Educational Qualification :
Minimum 10+2 class from an accredited college in any course of study with English and a minimum score of 40% for general applicants (5% reduction for SC /ST/O.B.C./M.O.B.C./PWD applicants). Preference will be given to applicants who have passed 10+2 in a science subject with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Age Limit :
The candidates should not be less than 17 years of age and not more than 25 years of age as on 31/12/2023.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable :
(i) By 5 years for SC/ST candidates,
(ii) By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
(iii By 10 years for PWD candidates .
Selection Process of OIL India Nursing Admission
The selection process of OIL India Nursing Admission consists of the following phases:
Written Test: Eligible applicants must appear for a written test. The minimum score for the written test is 45 percent for general candidates and 40 percent for SC /ST/O.B.C./M.O.B.C/PWD candidates.
Subjects/Syllabus: The entrance test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the following subjects from Class X:

The duration of the exam is 02.00 hours and the total score is 100. The questions are asked in English. Candidates who have passed the written examination will be provisionally selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination.
Document Review: Applicants who are provisionally selected must appear before a committee for review of original documents and medical examination.
Training period: the applicants selected for admission must complete a one-year compulsory internship in the health and medical wards managed by the company after completing the GNM course. They must complete the entire training period (including the one-year mandatory internship); otherwise, they must be reimbursed for expenses incurred during the course if they dropped out of the course/training on their own initiative.
